A lively and “delicious” hotel on the Costa Dorada waterfront

I stayed here with my adult daughter in September.

I chose the timing well: the temperature stayed around 30°C, but in reality the sun felt much stronger.

The coastline in this area is beautiful, especially in the direction of Cambrils.

The hotel is located between Cambrils and Salou (about 2 km from town). You can easily walk to Salou’s Marina and Promenade at a comfortable pace.

Getting to Cambrils takes a bit longer — we used the local bus (around 15 minutes).

The food was excellent, and you can choose anything from BB to FB. During our week’s stay there were several themed dinners (Italian, Spanish, Asian, etc.). Everything was fresh and tasty.

There was also a separate burger and wok station.

Breakfast drinks (water, tea, coffee, wine) were included, while all drinks at dinner were extra. Water was about 2 EUR for a bottle.

They also had a diet section and clear gluten-free labels — a great idea.

The rooms share the same design, but the superior category (which we had) includes a kettle and tea set.

The beds are large and comfortable, there’s a hairdryer, a spacious bathroom, and the cleaning was fine.

Animation during the day is soft, in the evening more lively.

The beach is just across the promenade that stretches from Salou to Cambrils — it’s technically the first line, but with a walkway in between.

Sunbeds on the beach are paid; however, the sunbeds on the hotel’s fenced terrace area are free. The space is divided into zones, so you can find a quieter spot. On the beach you can also simply lie on your own towel or buy a parasol from the nearby shop.

The sea has a sandy, gentle entrance — very pleasant.

There are showers every 500 meters along the entire coastline, so you can easily move between beaches, which we often did :)

A very important nuance is the guest profile.

Most guests are seniors (throughout the whole season). Everything here is designed for them: flat hotel grounds, wooden pathways on the beach, shallow entry into the sea. The hotel also accommodates wheelchair users and has the necessary facilities (including a special chair lift for the pool).

There are some families with children, but far fewer. There’s a kids’ room and an outdoor playground.

Young people are rare — so if your plan is to “show off a new swimsuit,” this is NOT the place.

Overall, everything was good, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.ф
