Perfect for maximum relaxation

The hotel occupies an entire bay, which allows for maximum privacy. It’s peaceful, with no animation or loud entertainment.

There are stunning views of the nearby islands, white sand, sunbeds set far apart from each other, and a gentle — yet not shallow — entry into the sea. They say that during strong low tides, you can even walk to the neighbouring island.

The hotel is small and thoughtfully zoned. The family area is on the left, and the adults-only section is on the right. Everything is designed using natural materials. For example, the swimming pool is made of stone rather than the usual blue tiles. The grounds are incredibly green. You may spot squirrels, monkeys, and even monitor lizards. Sea-view rooms are few, but definitely worth it. Because the hotel has a limited number of rooms, it feels like you recognize all the guests.

The interiors are not new but look authentic rather than outdated. The toiletries and linens are high-quality. The rooms are huge, all with balconies. Housekeeping is perfect, and water is replenished daily.

When I visited, part of the rooms were undergoing renovation, so I expect the hotel will look even better soon.

The staff are always smiling — very pleasant and hospitable.

Breakfast is served until 11:00, and you can comfortably continue eating until 12:00. For me, this is a special pleasure on holiday — not having to rush in the morning. Breakfasts are very diverse. Besides the standard egg dishes and sausages, there are Asian options such as gyoza, bao buns, soups, curries, etc. Among the fruits, in addition to oranges and bananas, there were lychee, jackfruit and pineapple. I didn’t like the coffee, but there was sparkling wine.

Upgrading to all-inclusive costs 500 MYR (about $120). A standalone lunch or dinner at the buffet costs 120 MYR (€30), which seemed too expensive to me. So if you plan to stay only within the hotel, it’s better to book the appropriate meal plan in advance. Nearby there is only one small local eatery with very reasonable prices: 100 g of prawns for 9 MYR ($2), tom yum for 12 MYR ($3). You can also order delivery through the local equivalent of Bolt Food.
